The world has changed both inside and outside Active Owners, and it calls for novation and reimaginating of how we do business.

As a new initiative our CEO, Søren Pind, partnered with Heartcore Capital, Novo Holdings, Danske Bank and Plesner to host a VC roundtable event.

The aim of the event was to get the leading voices from Danish GPs in tech, impact and life science together at Danske Banks’ new head quarter to talk about some of the sector’s most pressing questions, including how to unlock more capital and improve VC performance, in order for Active Owners to align with the Danish VC industry on how to best direct its efforts to support the continued development and growth of the Danish startup scene generally.

The evening opened with a macro deep-dive from Bo Lidegaard on the shifting geopolitical landscape and was followed with four sharp, focused roundtable discussions led by Jakob Bro from 2150, Christel Piron from PSV Tech, Signe Marie Sveinbjørnsson from Heartcore and Peter-Andreas Bodilsen from Plesner. The discussions revealed a number of problem areas relevant for Active Owners to engage in on behalf of the Danish VC investors.

This roundtable event is just one example of how Active Owners is working to strengthen the Danish venture, by creating space for honest dialogue, practical insights and actionable outcomes.
